The TRUTH of the matter is that actual psychics are few and far between. I don't know the exact percentage, but my guess would be that only about 4-6 percent of the entire population could be considered "truly clairvoyant". Many, many others are "intuitive" - but that is a different talent we'll delve into later. Most of the "true psychics" probably aren't going to be accessible through Joe Blow's string of thirty-five psychic reading domains where he is trying to make a buck for himself (and chump change for his "hired psychic readers").
One of the first things I learned, in seeking a bit of income for myself that is sorely needed, is that there is a VAST DIFFERENCE between being adept at divination (through Tarot, Runes, etc) and providing "Clairvoyant Readings" for companies such as I've mentioned above. After conducting a "test reading" for one company that will remain nameless, I was told it wasn't "clairvoyant enough" even though I had read the cards accurately and provided great insight for the querent after reading the cards and combining my intuitions with their meanings.
Let me just say, right here, that just being able to read the cards (or Runes or Astrological Charts) is a skill all in its' own right that is achieved through extensive, on-going, study and practice, similar to the lessons a person goes through to be able to build houses or to deliver babies. With divination, the entire process is brought up a few notches to include the magical aspects - the Tarot (for example) opens up a realm of possibilities and insight that isn't readily apparent in our mundane existences.
Many times, a reader will gain added intuition about the issues at hand while reading for a querent. The best way I know to describe "intuition" is this: "a sudden, very strong feeling or awareness about a person or situation that doesn't occur from typical thought processes, observances or by recalling similar experiences". Does this happen to me (and about three million other people)? YES. Do I feel that I am clairvoyant? NO, not really. I know that I cannot "tap into" the psychic realm on a whim. Unfortunately, I can't "turn it on or off" as I please. When it comes, it is just there and I feel a deep, gnawing need to act or react to the information being presented.
So, why am I telling you all of this? Because, after applying to work for a couple of psychic reading companies, it quickly became apparent to me that what they are "selling to the public" is most likely a bunch of "made up shit". Whether they're using the querent's birthdates to quickly google info from a current online horoscope, going by the way questions are fashioned (you can tell a LOT just by the way something is asked), or using some other tricky means of providing a so-called "psychic reading", chances are the best interests of the client are NOT the main focus.
In short, I DO read tarot. I DO have strong intuition and a deep, compassionate and wise response for anyone seeking a reading. Among other studies, I've trained under Marcus Katz and other brilliant instructors, combining my natural gifts and compassion for others with their excellent courses of study (an on-going process that won't end til my own life has concluded). Among only about 600 other people on the planet, I've completed his first, very intense Diploma Certification Course utilizing "Around the Tarot in 78 Days".
My greatest passion is - and always has been - helping others. I have experience and study in "self-help" and life-coaching as well as a good bit of TRUE intuition (precognitive, remote viewing, etc) at various times. Over four decades or so, I've seen or experienced many of the toughest obstacles life can present to a person - coming through them alive and thriving - and there isn't much that shocks me, so don't be afraid to ask. If YOU would like a REAL reading, please feel free to email me at designing.life.net AT gmail.com. I'm not going to break the bank for you and am very flexible in seeking fair compensation - even if it is simply swapping a service for a service. And, by the way, don't fall victim to the scammers out there.
