Tantalizing Treasures

In case you haven't noticed, I'm rather "stuck" on that word lately..."tantalizing". It just seems so...I don't know...tantalizing! (Grin)

Believe it or not, I haven't received any Wonderful Web Witches entries or nominations for the entire month of September! Browsing through the blogs of my friends, though, it's easy to see this is a crazy-busy time of the year!

Meanwhile, I'd like to share a wonderful little witchy shop with you, called Isle of Enchantments. You'll find "tantalizing treasures to spark your spirit TM"! Okay, so maybe I've gone a bit too far in finding a shop whose own tagline fits with my "tantalizing" obsession of late. Either way, here's a little tease taste of what you'll see:

That skull is all kinds of cool. So is the cabinet, and the journal, and pretty much everything else. Off to check them out, thanks!

I agree! That was the first thing (the skull) that caught my eye. I've added some of these items to my own wish list. :D

I'm off to check out your REALLY cool shop!!! I was exploring your site and was wondering; do you do web design at all?

Dear Jennifer,

The shop really IS cool! It isn't "mine" though - just something I ran across recently with some great products.

As far as web design, the answer is yes...and... no. I began creating web sites in 2001 using a site builder program. Over the years I learned about Search Engine Optimization (SEO), how to "market" to the public effectively (through appearance, content, placement, etc), and learned a bit of coding. One of my first web site domain names is for sale for about $1250 at the moment. The site had over 120 pages and I didn't know - way back then - how to "sell" a site so I had just "let it go" when I could no longer afford to keep up the hosting.

Another 5 page site reached rankings 1-3 for keywords in the major search engines (Google, Yahoo and MSN) before it was even finished. What that means is, for the keywords I was targeting, if someone searched for them in the browser (let's say they were "pagan parenting"), they were within the very first three results displayed to the public out of several thousands of web sites trying to gain top position using those same keywords.

Perhaps if you can give me an idea of what you're interested in accomplishing. I am not a "professional", although I am very visually-oriented and thoroughly enjoy helping others out when I can.

Bright Blessings and thank you for stopping by!

I made the most unlady-like sound when I saw that skull. I'm currently staring at my screen intently, and ignoring the people who are staring at me, probably thinking I'm surfing porn.

What a beauty!

LOL Magaly! I have to admit that the first person I thought of when I saw the skull was YOU! I knew you'd love it. ;)

So, you make sounds when you surf porn too, huh? (wink)

Of course I make sounds when I search porn lol. Some of them might even come with words (i.e. that is freaking impossible!)

P.S. I stopped by because I was thinking about you; wondering what you were up to...

Magaly, LOL @ "that is freaking impossible"! Working on a handmade spirit board and buttoning things up around the old house in preparation for winter (plastic on windows, etc). Hope to be writing and flying around my favorite blogs SOON :)
